Karen Mitchell, MPT, CSCS
Managing Clinic Director , Physical Therapist
Karen has served as a manager/ clinic director for several hospital based outpatient ortho clinics and private PT clinics for many years. She has over 26 years of clinical experience, and 11 of those years have been at WWPT. Karen graduated with a Masters of Physical Therapy from Oakland University in 1996. Her wealth of knowledge includes the evaluation and treatment of Vestibular dysfunction, Wounds/ wound care, and dysfunctions of the spine and extremities. Karen is a Certified Rock Tape clinician; she is a SI joint dysfunction specialist, a certified Manual Lymphatic drainage clinician, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Instructor. Karen’s area of expertise is manual joint mobilizations of the SI/Spine/extremities, STM, IASTM, METs, and treatment/ management of sports injuries. Karen is also an active member of the APTA. In her extra time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, bowling, golfing and watersports.
Zanobia Rababeh, MPT, DPT
Assistant Director, Physical Therapist
Zanobia graduated from Wayne State University in 2002 with a Masters in Physical Therapy, and then pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wayne in 2012. Zanobia has over 20 years of experience treating a wide range of neurological and orthopedic pathologies with a focus on post-surgical patients and advanced level athletes of all ages. In the 11 years she has been at WWPT, Zanobia completed courses to treat SI joint and spine dysfunction, pain syndromes, and manual lymphedema drainage. She takes special interest in a holistic approach for helping patients achieve their desired fitness levels with mindful strengthening, conditioning, and fueling. Zanobia utilizes a variety of approaches including joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, PNF, and Rock taping to help patients reach their fullest potential. In her free time, Zanobia enjoys working out, and spending time with her family.
Paul Bar, MPT
Physical Therapist
Paul received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University in 2005, and has been practicing at WWPT for 11 years. His areas of expertise include evaluation and treatment of the foot and ankle, Vestibular dysfunction, and SI pathology. Paul also has over 10 years of experience in joint replacement rehab. He utilizes a wide variety of techniques to treat muscle imbalances and pain including muscle energy techniques, joint/soft tissue mobilization and kinisio/ rock taping. When not helping patients, Paul enjoys working on home projects, working out and playing tennis.
Jeannette Saari, PT
Physical Therapist
Jeanette received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan in 1982. With over 50 years of experience, Jeannette has completed courses for E1 and E2, and S1 and S2 at Oakland University and multiple courses for shoulders, knees and the spine. Jeanette has been with WWPT for 10 years, the majority of Jeannette’s experiences are treating patients with joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, and spine pathologies. She utilizes a wide variety of manual techniques with supportive therapeutic exercises to assist her patients in achieving their functional goals.
Rebecca McFalls, LPTA
Physical Therapy Assistant
Becky received her Bachelors in Health and Human Science from Grand Valley State University, and then graduated from Henry Ford Community College in 2006 as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. In her 7 years at WWPT, Becky has become our CPR/ AED/ First Aid Instructor through the Red Cross. She has a strong background in the treatment of orthopedic conditions, with areas of expertise to include manual skills to mobilize soft tissue, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques and trigger point release to aid in pain reduction and exercise progression. Becky is also certified in Rock / Kinisiology tape applications, and enjoys working with patients of all ages so that they meet their desired goals. Becky enjoys travelling with her husband and riding motorcycles.
Jaqueline Cummins, LPTA, GTS
Physical Therapy Assistant
Jackie graduated from UM-Dearborn with an associate in business management, and from Henry Ford Community College to become a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Jackie has over 26 years of experience as a PTA, with 11 of those years at WWPT. Jackie is certified in Graston technique, Muscle energy technique, and has a strong background in soft tissue mobilization and massage. When not treating patients, Jackie enjoys her animal, travelling and camping with family, and scrapbooking.
Jessica Coleman
Clinic Administrative Manager
Jessica has worked for WWPT for over 14 years. She has mastered the art of scheduling patients, verifying insurances, and obtaining authorizations to initiate or continue therapy. She manages the day to day operations of our intake team so that your experience at WWPT is pleasant and informative. Jess will also be happy to schedule a Physical Therapy consultation and tour of the clinic for you anytime. In her free time, Jess enjoys working out, taking care of her dogs, and spending time with family.
